I am embarrassed to say that Wildfork has been in my neighborhood for a little while now and I had not gone in until very recently. I blame this on my obsession with buying meat at Costco but I think will have to re-visit this strategy!
The first thing I want to say is that it is much more affordable than I was expecting. If you are looking to grill high-quality meat and not break the bank, this is the spot for you!
Secondly, there is an amazing variety of meats and cuts! I didn’t look very hard but they also had vegetarian options for sides.
Finally, the real reason I’m writing this post…they have amazing Argentine products!!! Chorizo, salchicha parrillera, empanadas de choclo… I can’t believe for years now next to me there has been a store selling this delicious food and I have ignored it.
Never again will I settle for burger and hot dogs when planning a ‘BBQ’ at my place. We can have an actual asado! For this particular event, we got entraña (skirt steak), chorizo, marinated chicken breast, salchicha parrillera, and empanadas de choclo. Word on the street is the meat ones are not great (plus I make my own!!). All the food we bought was absolutely delicious.
Consider this blog post my PSA for all things meat! I may try more of their sides and desserts next time!
